It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Pottier Sr. of Riverton, Illinois, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis F. Pottier and Mary E. Ferguson Pottier. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Pottier of Riverton; his children, Richard L. Pottier Jr. (Kaitlin) of Springfield, Stephanie A. Danenberger of Springfield and Christina M. Pottier (Josh Carver) of Riverton; his grandchildren, Kadence, Madalyn, Kennedy, Michael, Louis and Alina; and his siblings, Paul Pottier (Jan) of Gower, John Pottier (Donna) of Overland Park, Larry Pottier (Jamie) of Lake, Cathy Pacheco of Kansas City, Peggy Hanson (Dennis) of Bethany and Patty Moore of Kansas City, Kansas. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
