We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Norma Jean Smith of Riverton, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Truter and Gladys Truter; her brother Bill Truter; and her son-in-law Gene Woodson. She is survived by: her husband John H. Smith; her children, Debbie Woodson, John Smith (Lynn), Rick Smith (Kathy) and Julie Smith (Eileen Simpson); her sisters, Kay Liggett and Beverly Williams; and her sister-in-law Bessie Truter. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Granddaughter.

Memorial donations may be made the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
