It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hector L. Fortin of Riverton, Illinois, born in Harvey, Illinois, who passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector L. Fortin, Sr. and Alice M. Cusack Fortin; his sister-in-law Joan Jones; his sisters, Alice Lorraine and Jeannine Marie; and also, Ed and Mary Stocks.

He is survived by: his wife Noel Mary; his son Jerry Fortin (Carolyn) of Riverton; his niece Cheryl L. Nelson of Hammond, IN; his brother-in-law Leslie M. Jones of Crete, IL; his niece Leanne Jones-Kindernay (Robert) of Lemont, IL; and his great-nephew Bret Pagni of Lemont, IL. He is also survived by other nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
