He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Griffitts and Goldie Griffitts (Brown); his wife JoAnna Koehler; his siblings, Sophie, Roberta, Rozella, Harold, Harley, Edgar, Raymond, Arthur and Horace; his son-in-law Kirby Simmering; and his sons, Timmy and Richard Griffitts.
He is survived by: his daughters, Roxanna Wardell (Elmer) of Buffalo, Tammie Monier (Butch) of Port Charlotte, FL, Lori Simmering of Riverton and Lona Boggs (Curt) of Riverton; his daughter-in-law Diana Griffitts; his grandchildren, Bryan Schleyhahn (Angela), Chrissy Szoke (Brad), Jodi Schleyhahn, April Wolford (Jack), Wendy Brehmer (JR), Bobbijo Bodine (Jason), Tyler Simmering (Allison), Ashley Monier and Aubrey Cope (Michael); his brother Henry Griffitts of Jacksonville, FL; and his pet Piper. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
