Ray of Riverton, Illinois, born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Leo "Buster" Schmidt; her nephew Bret Sander; and her aunt Gertie Wurm. She is survived by: her mother Lorine Schmidt (Albers) of Breese; her husband Michael Stephen Ray; her daughter Alicia Harney (Garrett) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Sophia and Noah Harney; her sisters, Nancy Schomaker (John) of New Baden and Karen Sander (John) of Jefferson City, MO; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa Hammond (Kevin), Sarah Richter (Jeremy), Christopher Schomaker (Danielle), Christopher Scherle and Tyler Scherle.
