With solemn reverence, we commemorate Virginia S. Alba (Riverside, Illinois), whose life came to an end on February 4, 2025 at the age of 104, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Cruz Alba; her children, Olivia De La Rosa (Leo), Virginia Lacerte (Larry), Catarina "Cathy" Alba and Francisco Javier (Olinda); and her adoptive daughter Olivia "Olis" De La Rosa.
She is survived by: her children, Yolanda Santos, Amador Alba (Yolanda), Cristina Cabrera and Esperanza Sandoval (Peter). She is also survived by her husband, her 9 children, her 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 9 great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (7750 W Cermak Rd, Forest Park, IL 60130). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Paul Vi Parish (105 Herrick Rd, Riverside, IL 60546).
