With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley B. Dunphy in Riverside, Illinois, born in Carrollton, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles King and Blanche King; her brothers, Charles and Bob King; and her siblings-in-law, Norma Dunphy, Becky Glowacki, Mary Lou McCollum, Jack and Tom Dunphy.
She is survived by: her husband Spider; her children, Bridget Riley (Bill), Maureen Dunphy, Chris Dunphy (Janice), Kevin Dunphy (Elizabeth) and Erin Dunphy; her grandchildren, Abby Cropp (Tyler), Jenna Miller (Adam), Nicholas Dunphy, Natalie Thacker (Josh), Brendan Dunphy and Sean Dunphy; and her great grandchildren, Cora Miller, Macoy Cropp and Lily Thacker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the current State of Illinois restrictions on social distancing, the visitation and service is limited to 25 people or less at a time inside the funeral home. The family appreciates your attention to respecting social distancing guidelines and requests masks be worn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Church.
