She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Gray and Sarah Beck Gray; her daughter Eureka Gray; and her siblings, Kathleen Sanders, Dianna Branch, Robin Taylor of Louisville, KY, Yvonne Timms, Frank Taylor and Rofert Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Larry (Twanya Gray), Christopher (Yolanda Douglas), Carlton (Kristin Douglas), Shawn Douglas (Takyla McClain) and Kidadah; her son-in-law William Watson of Phoenix, AZ; her siblings, Emmanuel (Debbie Taylor), Darrol (Ilene Taylor), Gloria Gray of Kankakee, IL, Patrisha (Earbie Johnson), Sheila Taylor (Jan Taylor), Denise Gray and Deborah Gray (Darlene Gray); her aunt Lillie Mae Thomas of Chicago, IL; and her close friends, Vivian Thomas of Kankakee, IL and Lillian Caffey of Kankakee, IL. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
