It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Brown in Riverside, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pink Griggs and Maggie Griggs (Sweeney); her parents-in-law, Harry and Jean Brown; her daughter Julie Ann Galayda; her siblings, Pink Griggs, Jr., Raymond Griggs (Donna), Janella Lovell (Gene), Clifford Thomas, Clarence Griggs, Lovelace Griggs, Hudson Griggs and Sheilds Griggs; her siblings-in-law, Janet Brown and Roland Brown; and her husband Robert Glenn Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lee Ann Maynard (Eric) of Wilmington and Bobbi Peters (Don) of Morris, Illinois; her son-in-law Jon Galayda of Ritchie; her grandchildren, E. J. Maynard (Samantha), Hannah Maynard, Paige Peters, Kayla Peters, Logan Peters and Erica Maynard; her great grandchildren, Memphis and Zeke; her siblings, Marzee Thomas, Dimple Prentice, Johnny Griggs (Judy) and LeVert Wilson (Johnny); her sisters-in-law, Sharon Griggs, Lib Griggs, Verna Griggs, Evelyn Fennewald (Melvin) and Kathleen Hoffman (Max); and her friends, Tom and Angela Murray. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
