He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Mae Deschand and John S. Atkinson Jr. Better. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Ciarrocchi (David) and Alyssa LaMontagne (Lee); his grandchildren, Jake, Morgan, Gianna Ciarrocchi, Madison and Kennedy LaMontagne; his sisters, Judith Sutherland and Cheryl Atkinson; his aunt Rose Kelly; his nephew Steven Sutherland; his niece Alana Britt (Gary); and his friends, Dan and Sharon Power.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
Memorials may be made to his honor and sent to Jensen Funeral Home for his grandchildren's education.
