She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard E. Slamp; her children, Amy Fodorski (Tim), Gina Tess (Steve), Rick Slamp and Jennifer Straka; her grandchildren, Jason, Brendan, Meghan, Charlie, Emma, Hayley, Will, Caitlyn and Brynn; and her sisters, Cheryl Albert (Roger) and Donna Smith.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60126).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
