He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Brock-Goodwin and Myrtle Brock-Goodwin; his wife Marlene Ann Gill; his siblings, William, Frank Goodwin and Phyllis Summers; and his brother-in-law Norman Gill.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Goodwin (Debbie) of Wesley Township and Janet Sullivan (David) of Wesley Township; his grandchildren, Danielle Spangler (Brian) of Avon, Katie Rose (Ryan) of Cheyenne and Kristyn Goodwin of Elwood; his great grandchildren, Mason Spangler, Ella, Addison and Everett Rose; his sister Helen McGranahan; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn Gill (Sharon) of Manhattan and Carolyn Gill of Joliet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made as gifts in Erwin's memory to the Ritchey United Methodist Church or to Hospice of Kankakee Valley.
