He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Faylene; his children, Donald McDowell II (Rosalyn Glaubke), Barbara Wolanin (Michael), Peggy Johnson (Edward), John McDowell (Nadine), Ellen Soto (Shane) and Dan McDowell (Joy); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Molly, Alexandra, Mason, Benny, Caleb, Charlotte, Aubrey, Evelyn, Lewis, Jordy, Graham, Nina and Josephine.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (126 Herrick Rd, Riverside, IL 60546). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
