She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Dato and Ruth Dato (Hertz); her husband Eric J. Kirchner; her sister Jolene; her fathers-in-law, Ralph "Butch" Kirchner and Bryan Knight; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her son Ben (Kayla Shafer) of Limestone; her siblings, Cindy DeYoung (Jim) of Bourbonnais, Marsha Baker (Phil Snyder) of Chebanse, Pete Dato (Connie) of Reddick and Dave Dato (Heather) of Bonfield; her mothers-in-law, Ardis Knight of Limestone and Nancy Snedecor (Jerry) of Bonfield; and her siblings-in-law, Kevin Kirchner (Sheila) of Bonfield, Nigel Knight (Kathy) of Bourbonnais and Heather Thurston (Jeremy) of Herscher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
