With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lumpkins in Riverside, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Jackson and Vera Mae Jackson (Zimmerman); her husband Lee Lumpkins; her daughter Carolyn Jackson; her siblings, Roosevelt Jackson Jr., Anthony Jackson Sr., William Barnslater, Warwick Barnslater, Antwain Barnslater, Cornelius Johnson, Rosa Nell Jackson and Vera Mae Brandon; her stepmother Barbara Jean Jackson; and her nephews, Tashon Jones, D'onte Gullens and Ozell Jackson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ronnie Earl Jackson, Quentin Barnslater, Andre Barnslater and Quartrina Barnslater; her sons, Lee Lumpkins, Ernest Lumpkins and Charlie Lumpkins; her sisters-in-law, Genetta Lumpkins, Elnora Coleman and Mary Jackson; and her uncle Michael Houston. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Bible Church (13043 E 2260 Rd S, Momence, IL 60958). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
