She was predeceased by: her brothers, Richard Schmidt (Elaine) and Leonard Schmidt (late Connee); and her parents, Andrew Schmidt and Lillian Schmidt. She is survived by: her husband Douglas W. McQueary; her children, Kathleen Messer (Thomas) and Kelley Hansen (Robert); and her grandchildren, Megan Kehl, Rebecca Messer, Matthew Messer, Jocelyn Hansen and Kasey Hansen.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (2505 Indiana Ave, Lansing, IL 60438). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
