“Vasiliki (Vaso) Mantas lived with my father, Andreas Maglaras after his wife Erasmia died in 1997. He passed away in 2005, and Vaso was at his funeral crying for him. Now I cry for you, Vaso, and to your family here and in Greece. I love you and miss you. I loved your cooking very much. Your smile, your hugs, and care for everyone around you. I will miss you. May you be in heaven, my good lady, Vaso Mantas. Sincerely, Vasiliki Maglaras Beaudrie”
