Nick G. Alexakis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nick G. Alexakis (River Grove, Illinois), who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nick G. Alexakis to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria N.; his children, Marika N., Georgia N. (Oliver Shields) and Konstantina N. (Jerell Chua); his grandchildren, Olympia, Nicola, Felix and Elliot; and his siblings, Greece and America.
Due to the current outbreak of COVID-19, all services are private, and the interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
The family asks that any donations in Nick's memory be directed to the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (http://www.sralab.org), in recognition of the center's tremendous work in helping patients, like Nick, rehabilitate from traumatic brain injuries.
