It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mieczyslawa J. Karpierz (River Grove, Illinois), who passed away on October 3, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Jan Karpierz; her children, Jolanta Zieba (Marek), Dorota Korona (Tadeusz), Renata and Lorenz; her grandchildren, Aneta Pikul (Mateusz), Claudia Korona, Gabriela Korona and Oliva Korona; and her siblings, Zofia Kajdy, Kazimiera Bielczyk and Stanislawa Mida.
