It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irena Pruski of River Grove, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Tadeusz Nowak. She is survived by: her husband Jozef Nowak; her children, Stanislaw and Stacey; her son-in-law Zenon Milewski; her grandchildren, Ania Nowak, Joe Nowak, Mark Nowak, Kasia Abrahamsen (Gregory), Chris Milewski (Whitney), Paulina Nowak, Angelica Keating (Ryan) and Michael Milewski; and her great grandchildren, Violet Milewski, Hope, Madelynn and Mila Abrahamsen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pietryka Funeral Home (5734 W Diversey Ave, Chicago, IL 60639). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St Francis Borgia Church (8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Adalbert Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
