He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Taurina and Rosa Taurina (LaManna); his siblings, Angela Lazzara (late Sebastiano), Vito Torina (Giuseppina), Margherita LaManna (late Giuseppe), Casimira Fiumefreddo (late Vincenzo) and Jim Taurina (Maria); and his sister-in-law Rosa Priolo (Vincenzo).
He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Salvatore Taurina, Rosa Gorecki (Russell) and Vincenzo Taurina (Beata); his grandchildren, Emily, Russell, Mia Gorecki and Ashley Taurina; his great grandchild Geneva; and his siblings-in-law, Santo Chiavetta (late Angela), Vito Chiavetta (Sara), Maria Taurina (late Jim), Giuseppe Chiavetta, Nardean Chirchirillo (Vincenzo) and Fond.
