He is survived by: his spouse Frances Butler Darley; his children, Stephen (Darlene), Peter (Karen), Thomas (Pamela), James (Christina), Paul Darley (Heidi), Anne Freedman (Randy) and Mary Krina Mattio (Michael); his grandchildren, Kevin Darley, Gabriel, Geneva, Nicole, Jasmine Darley, Audrey, Margaret, Sophie Darley, James Freedman and Emmet Freedman; his siblings, Patricia Long (late Philip) and Reginald C. Darley (late Francella); his grandchildren, Robert Mackey, Mabel Huddleston (Tyler), Ryan Puccinelli (Pina), Eileen Ayotte (Travis), William Golden, Maggie Golden, Matthew Farmer and Daniel Farmer; and also, Michelle FitzHenry (late Ted), Laura Brady, Greg Trankina, Diane Golden, Frank Trankina and Mary Bea Farmer (James). He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and mentor.
