Heglund in River Forest, Illinois, born in Mellen, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Koosmann and Frieda Koosmann (Bonitz); her husband Jack (Jack); and her siblings, Lloyd, Norbert, Donald, Shirley and Leila.
She is survived by: her children, Laureen Scarlett (Brett), Marcy Henri and Derek Heglund (Miranda); her grandchildren, Kalyssa Olkonen (John), Ryker Scarlett and Nadia Scarlett; her great grandchildren, AnjaOlkonen and KatjaOlkonen; her siblings, Ken Koosmann, Ruth Josephson and Joyce Kaseno (Dave); and her grandchildren, Dylan Lawver, Hayden Lawver, Jesse Henri and Mindy Schutte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (101 Thomas St, Mellen, WI 54546). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
