Mead of River Forest, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Mead and Helen Feehery Mead; his brother Donald; and his nephew David. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Jim (Laurie), Tim, Mike (Jeni) and Kate Griffiths (Ben); and his grandchildren, Kelly, Madison, Jim, Max, Matt, Morgan, Maria, Timo, Florencia and Logan.
