He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Merritt and Ethylene Dean (Burns-Decker); and his siblings, Dick Dean and Juanita Coon (Earl). He is survived by: his spouse Faith M. Kenyon; and his children, Justin Dean (Brittany) of Dahinda, Zack Dean (Melanie) of Latham, Victoria "Vicki" Callagan of Troy, Amy Mahoney (Dan) of Voorheesville and Josh Cinelli (Lis) of Fort Worth, Texas. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
