It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kaitlin E. Gomez of Ridott, Illinois, born in DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 29, on January 14, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Roger and Mary Lou Marquardt; and her aunt Tamara Hamel. She is survived by: her daughter Alessandra Ramirez; her former husband Lazaro Ramirez; her husband Kevin Gomez; her in-laws, Dagoberto and Luz Gomez of Columbia; her parents, Stephen and Edna; her brothers, Sheldon Baptist (Arlette) of Oneida, IL and Brandon Baptist (LeAnne) of Columbus, WI; her nieces, Charlotte and Abigail Baptist; and her grandparents, Norman and Thelma Baptist of Rock City, IL.. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rockford Seventh-Day Adventist Church (325 N Alpine Rd, Rockford, IL 61107).

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up in Alessandra's name.
