We bid farewell to Michael L. Wead of Ridgway, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 59. Michael L. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Wead and Gloria Wead (Goodwin); his brother Sammy Wead; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Gloria June Drone.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Drone; his daughters, Courtney, Brittney and Kailyn Williams (Skyler); his grandchildren, Rei'Lee, Brennon, Carter, Journee, Addison, Zander, Kendrix, Jaydn and Jrue; his siblings, Clay Wead, Melvin Wead, Melissa Boyd and Rebecca Wells; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Heberer (Chris), Becky Oldham and Larry Drone (Tammy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion (206 S Murphy St, Ridgway, IL 62979).
