With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margie Lea Burnett (Ridgway, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Though Margie Lea may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margie Lea touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Darrell E. Burnett; her daughters, Marcella Mick, Suella Zeimet and Diane Wooten; and her parents, Dallas Fulkerson and Edna Fulkerson.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill Sneed (Carolyn) of Morton, IL and Darrell E. Burnett of Eldorado, IL.; and her siblings, Sharon Browning of Norris City, IL, Michael Fulkerson of Norris City, IL. and Leatha Martin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and had several great-grandchildren.
