He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Francis Sork and Bernice Kimbro (Buchanan); his wife Ellen Louise Cox; his siblings, Edgar Sork, Buddy Sork and Mary Rose Hendrix; his son Lyndal Sork, Jr.; and his nephews, Bubby Hendrix and Tom Sork.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason Wayne Sork of Ridgway and Gregory Wade Sork of Ridgway; and his grandson Levi Sork of Murphysboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
