He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Staten and Lillian Staten (Minar); and his sister Joanne Pumphrey. He is survived by: his wife Frances (Stennett); his children, Keith Lane of Evansville, IN and Beverly Staten of New Haven; his grandchildren, Hannah, Mitchell, Seth, Jazmine and Odin; and his sister Marilyn Diver of Colorado.
