He is survived by: his children, Connie Funk of Ridgway, Gary Funk of Equality and Tony Funk of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; his siblings, Carolyn (John Wankle), Kay Fisher, Jerry (Judy Roth) and Steve Roth; and his granddaughter Tara Funk.
