It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Jean Darnell of Ridge Farm, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Jarvis and Thelma Louise Charles Jarvis; her spouse Glenn D. Darnell; her daughter Jeanne Ward of Danville; her brothers, David Jarvis (Pat) of Danville, J. C. Jarvis of Ridge Farm and Michael Jarvis (Wanda) of Cisco, Illinois; her grandchildren, Aaron Ward (Amy) and Caitline Wolfe; her great great grandchild Avery Elizabeth Ward; and her son-in-law Ron Ward.
