With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Arnett (Ridge Farm, Illinois), born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2019. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gladys Arnett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Wood (Arnet) and Douglas Wood; her husband George Arnett; her children, Lana Leanne and Carl Robert; and her sister Darlene Davis.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Whelan (Harold) of Rhode Island; her grandchildren, Renee Whelan-Gomes and Tammi Whelan; her great grandchildren, Zachary Carl, Lucy Marie, Layla Michelle and Atticus Joseph; her siblings, Jean Mason and Denzil Woods; and her close friend Waneta K. Hall. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as many friends.

Memorial donations may be given in her name to Vermilion Grove Friends Church.
