It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Copsy of Ridge Farm, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Copsy and Mary Copsy (Mills); his former spouses, Beverly Blackorby and Patricia Jackson; his siblings, Jackie, Bob and Rebecca; and his stepchildren, Joyce Ann Walker and George W. Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Copsy; his children, Shelley Snider (Gary) of Statesboro, GA and Sandy Howie (Ray) of Oakwood, IL; his stepchildren, Pam Lewsader of Chrisman, IL, Paula Geisert (Wayne) of Kokomo, IN, Theresa (Mike) of Chrisman, IL, Julie Pierson of Charleston, Christy Walker (Crystal Vanderport) of Williamsport, IN and David Walker (Holly) of Pittsburgh, PA; and his sister Frances Kingen of Danville, IL.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in his honor to American Lung Association.
