She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rutherford and Eleanor Sczcepaniak Wilcox; her son Cary Olbrot of Chicago; her sister Betty Brancate; and her grandparents, Walter, Ruth Ella Wilcox, Mary and Stanley Sczcepaniak.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel William Schmeissing; her children, Charmaine Olbrot of Manteno, Charles Perce of Cape Coral and Daniel Jr. Schmeissing (Christie) of Manhattan; her sister Charlene Wilcox Timm (Jerry) of St. Charles; her grandchildren, Antonio Porras of Manteno, Carley Jacobi Nigro (Alex) of Manteno, Nicole Perce of Dixon, Kayle Perce Holloway of Dixon, Victoria Schmeissing of Manhattan and Madison Schmeissing of Manhattan; her great grandchildren, Neyo Holloway of Dixon, Nevan Holloway of Dixon, Tylor Jaminich, Dominic Jaminich, Hayleigh Ownbey, Skylina Ownbey and Robyn Baker; her nephew Dino Mangano (Leah) of Palatine; and her great-aunt Isabelle Mangano.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
