We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2024, at the age of 72, Lucien C. Szczepanik of Richmond, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Szczepanik and Theresa Szczepanik (Strzelinski); and his brothers, Roman, Geno and Mark Szczepanik.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Lucien (Erin), Randy (Melissa Laudicina), Candice (Gabriel Alverez), Melissa and Laura Szczepanik; his grandchildren, Alex, Kaylie, Gabriel, Jason, Anna, Kobe, Isaac, Emma, Tony and Tommy; his sisters, Kathleen (John Kelly) and Andria Meyers (Robert); his sister-in-law Elvira Szczepanik (late Roman); and his goddaughters, Kimberly Feliciano and Amy Marshall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home (8103 Wilmot Rd, Spring Grove, IL 60081). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
