With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Benson (Richmond, Illinois), born in Woodstock, Illinois, who passed away on May 13, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Benson and Violet Benson; his wife Lynne Schultz; and his brothers, Roger Lee Benson and Rodney Benson.

He is survived by: his adoptive daughters, Janel Bottalla (Joe), Maria Mallory (Jason), Ruby Gross (Robert) and Terese Paulson (Peter); his nieces, Melissa Bebo and Maria Bankenbush; and his nephew Jeff Benson.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Grace Lutheran Church 6000 Broadway Rd. Richmond, Ill. 60071.
