He is survived by: his wife Joan Panozzo; his children, Dawn Rice (Scott) of West Chicago, IL, Ann Marie Pellegrini of Lake Geneva, WI, Charles Slater (Maureen) of New Berlin, WI and Peter Slater of Council Bluffs, IA; and his grandchildren, Tina, Sarah Herd, Joseph Pellegrini, Tim, MIchael Rice and Matthew Seppanen.
