He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Bottcher and Anna Bottcher (Muscat); and his sisters, Charlotte, Carole and Hope.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Varese; his children, Tamara Ley (Shawn), Melissa Bottcher, John Bottcher (Lisa) and Kortnee Mogensen (Ray); and his siblings, Anna Mae (Sam), Ronald, Otto (Norene), JoAnn (Lyn), James (Elizabeth), Deborah (David) and David (Susana). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
