It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris A. Stanfel of Richmond, Illinois, born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Fuhler (Lucas) and John Fuhler; her brothers, John Fuhler and Bob Fuhler; and her sister-in-law Eunice Fuhler.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Stanfel; her children, Deb Wike (Carson) of Genoa City, WI, Steve Stanfel Jr. (Sandy) of Richmond, IL and Kim Donohue (Joel) of Ft. Worth, TX; her grandchildren, Sarah Gage (Sam), Tom Wike, Steve Stanfel III (Brittany), Sean Stanfel, Shane Stanfel, Jaden Donohue and Ashley Seale (Caleb); and her brothers, Dick Fuhler (Carol) and Ron Fuhler (Carol). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or the American Heart Association, or a charity of your choice.
