He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin May and Emma May (Freund); his former wife Mae May; his daughter Frances Waghorn-Homeier; his son-in-law Ronald Waghorn; his granddaughter Lauren Waghorn Staley (Chris); and his siblings, Arlene May, Estelle Schmitt (Steve), Shirley Sanders (John) and Alan May (Joan).
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Rudolph (Harris); his children, Felecia Englert (Don) of Williams Bay, WI, Scarlet McGowan (John) of Woodstock, IL, Denise Wilson (Orvel) of Golden, CO, Anastasia Stetter (Robert) of Elkhorn, WI, Brook May of DeKalb, IL, Chad May (Pam) of Spring Grove and Luke May of Spring Grove; his sister Joan Popelka (John) of Spring Grove; and his stepchildren, William Rudolph (Suellen) of Casco, WI, Ronald Rudolph (Colleen) of Spring Grove, IL, David Rudolph (Diana) of Spring Grove, IL and Debra Dudley (James) of Morro Bay. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
