He is survived by: his wife Mary Jansen of Missouri; his daughter Kris (Judd); his son-in-law Judd; his sister Carolyn (Larry); his siblings-in-law, Agnes Howell of Frankfort, KY, Terry Lee (Nedra) and Bill (Maxine); and his nieces and nephews, Joy Ross, Jill Long (Charlie), Debbie Leibrook (Ken), Troy Manley (Laura), Mark Lee (Patti), Randy Lee (John), Brian Lee, Terry Wayne Lee, Sean Lee (Jodi), Todd Lee (Peggy), Doug Howell (Jamie), Allen Jansen (Julie) and David Jansen (Jodie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Legion Post 1166 in Reynolds, IL or Buffalo Prairie Community Church.
