He was predeceased by: his brother Lyle; and his daughter Kathy. He is survived by: his wife Rose Anne; his daughters, Janet Stewart (Dennis) of Rochelle, Donna Kersten (Ric Chandler) of Rochelle and Sara Macklin (Greg) of Lindenwood; his great grandchildren, Sheila Kersten Dewey, Ryan, Ashley Stewart, Liam of Waukesha, WI, Shawn, Kelly McKenzie (Stewart), Miles, Mila of Roscoe, IL, Matthew, Jaclyn Macklin, Jasper, Porter, Wilder of Kings, Kyle, Markee Macklin, Brixlee of Oregon, Jason, Justine Macklin and Veronica of Tularosa, NM; and his sister-in-law Shirley Kersten. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Rochelle United Methodist Church or Serenity Hospice and Home of Oregon.
