It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvetta M Jones of Reynolds, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Birely and Delores Birely (Schmidt); and her pet Molly. She is survived by: her husband Harold Jones; her children, Melissa Cook (John), Amy Barnett (Chris Flowers) and Kevin Jones (Pam); her grandchildren, Taylor Hampton (Dejoun), Katie, Caleb, Emmy, Nathan and Micah Jones; her great grandchild Jedediah; and her siblings, Warren Birely (Debbie), George Birely, Gail Burket (Lance), Dale Birely and Terry Kerr (Tommy).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in care of the family.
