He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Harroun and Darlene Veeder Harroun; and his wife Janet J. Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Fred Harroun (Robin), Judy Lawnsdale (Dan Hayes), Chuck Harroun (Tammi) and Deb Thomas (Jeff). He is also survived by his children; 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren with another on the way; 3 great-great grandchildren and 1 sister.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (801 Edgington St, Reynolds, IL 61279). A masonic service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory (801 Edgington St, Reynolds, IL 61279). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at the Reynolds Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in care of Buffalo Prairie Masonic Lodge 679 or the UIHC Stead Family Children's Hospital.
