She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Rourke and Twila Rourke (McGraw); her son-in-law Kevin Basala; and her siblings, Charles Rourke, Kenneth Rourke, Betty Teal and Jerry Rourke.
She is survived by: her husband Charles C. Gerleman; her children, Dr. Teresa Peck (Eugene), Dr. Diane Baldwin (Andrew), Dr. Dennis Gerleman (Jeanette), Dr. Patricia Basala, Donna Adams (Rodney) and Dr. Mark Gerleman (Jennifer); and her brother Ben Rourke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in care of St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, South Dakota.
