He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Joyce and Rosella Joyce; his wife Janet; his grandchildren, Katelyn Marie Joyce and Allen Forneris; and his siblings, William Joyce, Joseph Joyce and Patricia Stotland.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Joyce (Rita) of Essex, Judy Forneris (Dennis) of Reddick, Lori Cullen (Tom) of Springfield and Karen Barker (Darren) of Kankakee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his name may be directed to Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
