He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. O'Brien and Loretta O'Brien; his son Donald O'Brien; his siblings, Marie Berns (Tommy Woods), Francis O'Brien (Aldine), Gerald O'Brien and Phyllis Buza (Glen); and his siblings-in-law, Ed Masching (Lucille), Lucille Turner, Dennis Turner (Mac), Kim Schott and Marion King.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Hogan (Dan), Bill (Cheryl), John, Mary Kay (Todd Gereaux) and Patrick (Karen); his grandchildren, Matt Hogan (Laura), Will Hogan (Lauren), Jack Hogan, Mackenzie O'Brien, Donnie O'Brien, Connor O'Brien, Colleen Hodge (Garrett), Jacqueline O'Brien, Mason Gereaux, Michael Gereaux, Matthew Gereaux, Kelsey Donath (Mike), Ashley O'Brien and Maggie O'Brien; his great grandchildren, Michael Hogan, Marilyn Hogan, Paisley Hodge and Layton Donath; his son Terry Joyce; his grandson Jonathon Romanetto; his brothers, Paul O'Brien (late Lois) and Bill; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Masching, Ruth Schott and Rita King. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name to the St. Mary's Catholic Church or Lightways Hospice would be appreciated.
