He was predeceased by: his parents, John Whiteside and Hilda Whiteside; his wife Vera June Lewis; his son John Arthur Whiteside (Joy); and his son-in-law Warren Crowell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ginger Marie Whiteside and Kimberly Crowell; his grandchildren, John Adam Whiteside, Michael Feehan, Brian Crowell (Rachael), Andrew Crowell (Caitlin), Bradley Whiteside (Sarah), Janet Bessler (Jordan), Whitney Dunker (Zach) and Jessica Whiteside; and his great grandchildren, Kerrigan, Oliver Crowell, Jackson, Violet Crowell, Jaclyn, Jaxson, Jovanni Bessler, Addilynn Dunker and Baby Girl Dunker. He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
