He is survived by: his wife Cindy Epplin of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Dean George Epplin Red (Cathy) and Kimberly Mudd Prairie (Jeff); his sister Karen (George); his grandchildren, Allison Graber (Zach), Chelsia Epplin, Brooke Ostendorf (Dillon), Lindsay Epplin, Garrett Mudd, Brinley Mudd and Lucas George Mudd; his great grandchild Owen Ostendorf; his close friend Pete Rahn; and his mother-in-law Jean Menke. He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gathering St. Patrick's Hall (1 Pioneer Ln, Ruma, IL 62278).
